True Glow was originally created by Julie and Brooke McGee because of their love and obsession for a beautiful Spray Tan. Julie and Brooke became experts at spray tans over 8 years ago, by receiving some great and not so great spray tans. The two owners began spraying each other and learning all the techniques, for almost a year, before spreading the wealth to Atlanta. True Glow has made it this far by a slow and steady "grass roots" growth in the community. The owners say it was most important to them to have new business from happy referrals verses just trying to "make it big". Meet Julie

Years ago when the bottom fell out of the real estate market and Julie had to find a new way to support herself in this recession. She had forgone her Speech Communication degree from UGA to enter the real estate industry, but that was all changing. A spray tan fan, she wanted to share her passion for a beautiful youthful glow with women and men alike. She says there is no better reward than boosting her clients self esteem.

The entrepreneurial idea became reality when she purchased the unit, tent and named her budding business True Glow. As big Atlanta media began to highlight her (Q100's the Bert Show, CBS Better Mornings and Best Self Magazine) she watched as her operation began to take off and become a legitimate money maker.

"I call it the layer of confidence," says Julie, about the service she provides. "A tan just makes you feel better about how you look and I love that the spray solution doesn't ruin your skin or cause freckles or discoloration like too much sun will cause."
